Coming home to a fresh, resort style home that transports you straight to Palm Springs sounds right up our ally. Smout Property has definitely achieved this look and feel right in the heart of Brisbane, QLD. ‘The Gables’ is a home that we worked closely with from the very beginning of the renovation to determine what products Blindo can custom make to achieve the grand style.
This Slim Aaron’s Luxury Vacation Vibe is bright, airy, contemporary and inviting. This home emphasised loads of natural light, timber and marble textures, which can be seen as soon as you walk through the front door. Window furnishings are a must, and finding complimentary textures to enhance the flawless design was a challenge. Smout Property opted for stunning Custom Sheer Curtains in Chios Moonlight over the large doors in the Living, Dining, Media and Master Bedroom. The Gables features gold fixtures and finishes which adds a touch of sophistication, we wanted to replicate this with our Face Fit curtains having designer Gold Tracks and finials. This is the first of its kind by Blindo, and we love the end result!
The Walk-In-Robe is something that dreams are made of! So much storage and space including an island bench and makeup area, what more could you want! On these windows, we added our Blindo Polymer Shutters in Vivid White which is perfect for privacy and light control, as well as adding a touch of luxury. In all other bedrooms, simple Roller Blinds in Buxton Blockout Snow to stay on a brief.
